Who are we

We are very proud of our school, and of its high academic and social standards. We believe that every child is individually important and our staff work hard to ensure that everyone has the opportunity to reach their own potential. As the only remaining Infant School in Tameside we offer a unique educational experience, with a broad, balanced curriculum which is fun, practical and challenging and is suited to a range of learning styles. At Stalyhill Infants children enjoy meeting people from other countries and backgrounds, visiting places of interest, taking part in lunchtime clubs and becoming a member of our School Council.

Cultural Education Challenge Commitment

Our school is taking on the Cultural Education Challenge. This means that our learning journey takes us to places where we can create, compose, perform, visit, experience, participate, know, understand and review great art and culture. Along the way, we meet inspiring artists and cultural experts that help us explore our own and others’ inventiveness. Together we inspire each other to be creative, courageous and curious.
