Who are we

At Ladywood our children are given the very best support to ensure that they gain the most from the educational experiences offered. Ladywood staff work in partnership with parents and the wider professional community to enable each child’s learning journey to be fun yet challenging and therefore contribute to their successes in later life. Through a close partnership with parents, carers and families we aim to encourage mutual support in achieving agreed aims for each child. We are committed to promoting and celebrating the spiritual, moral and cultural development of pupils to reflect the richness of Ladywood School and the wider community. Every child is different and every child has unique talents that need to be nurtured and encouraged. Whatever the strengths of our children we ensure that they have the support and space to blossom. We create a happy, positive learning environment, where children feel supported, cared for and are encouraged to achieve. The ethos of Ladywood School encourages the development of pupil’s confidence and self-esteem within a safe and caring environment where the views of our pupils are sought, respected and reflected. Cultural Education Challenge Commitment

Our school is taking on the Cultural Education Challenge. This means that our learning journey takes us to places where we can create, compose, perform, visit, experience, participate, know, understand and review great art and culture. Along the way, we meet inspiring artists and cultural experts that help us explore our own and others’ inventiveness. Together we inspire each other to be creative, courageous and curious.
