Who we are

Venture Arts is unique in the North West. For over 20 years we’ve provided a lively and welcoming environment for learning disabled people to produce quality artwork. Venture Arts focuses on bringing out the best in every individual, nurturing talent and enhancing overall wellbeing and quality of life. We run over 1000 creative workshops every year with over 200 people, and enable learning disabled people to play a valuable and valued role in our region’s vibrant and diverse culture.

What we do

Our young people's programmes include: - Young People's Art Club Fun and engaging workshops for learning disabled CYP aged 8-25. Led by professional artists experienced in a wide range of support needs. Young artists make new friends and explore techniques like Photography, Ceramics, 3D, Textiles, Animation, Film, Printmaking. - Cultural Enrichment Programme Supported volunteer placements in Manchester's museums and galleries. Over 16 weeks participants gain skills, confidence and knowledge.
