Who we are
SoundWave believe that music has the power to transform lives. They offer high-quality bespoke workshop, recording and performance opportunities in any/all of the following: singing; percussion; song writing; instrumental skills; ensemble performance; recording; music production; 3-D sound. Drawing on the diverse skills set of their music leaders they deliver a wide range of musical opportunites that can be tailored to suit particular school/project needs SoundWave’s qualified and experienced team can offer a wide variety of activities to address your music curriculum needs, which often provide cross curriculum opportunities. They can provide short taster sessions through to year-long residencies in a variety of genres. They are able to meet the needs of all age ranges from family learning and foundation stage to Key Stage 4 and provision can take place at a time and setting most convenient to you. SoundWave’s most popular music programmes are Singing, Music Technology, Percussion, Tuned Percussion and CPD for teachers, however they are open to your suggestions and can create tailor-made programmes to suit specific needs. Weekly Singing and Songwriting sessions are also offered, plus Music Zone, weekly sessions offering rehearsal space, recording facilities and support and advice from SoundWave’s musicians. SoundWave are the Area Leaders for Sing Up in Cumbria.
