Who we are

Make Mouth Music was founded James Lyons, a professional musician and workshop facilitator with over twenty years experience on stage and in every conceivable educational environment. We have access to a network of incredible artists with a passion for teaching their skills to the next generation. Previous clients include The US Airforce, BBC, NHS, The National Theatre and Merseyside Police.

What we do

Rap and beatbox workshops for all ages and abilities that can turn a classroom, assembly, or even larger groups, into musicians in as little as 30 minutes. These skills are rooted in language, so absolute beginners can produce impressive results quickly without the steep learning curves associated with more traditional instruments. Our organisation is passionate about building confidence in individuals and removing access barriers to the multitudes of positive benefits music has on the brain.
