Who we are

Little Moreton Hall is the historic residence of the Moreton family. A striking looking timber-framed building that has defied the odds to stay standing over its 500 years, it has been said of the hall ‘logically it should not still be standing up!’ Visitors to Little Moreton Hall get the chance to tour the hall itself and experience its fascinating architecture along with snapshots of life in the 1600s. Education sessions at Little Moreton Hall are designed to support the Key Stage 2 history curriculum, with a firm focus on exploring the Tudor History of the building. Sessions give young people the chance to experience life in the Tudor times including games, costume and food.
