Who we are

Lingua Franca World Community CIC uses education and sharing of traditional arts and cultural practices between ethnically diverse communities as tools to promote understanding and improved approaches to contemporary issues.

What we do

We run creative projects across cultural divides to encourage discussion and exploration. We also run an agency of diverse performers with experience of running workshops in schools and the community. Examples of previous workshops Sierra Leone Krio language and music with Palmwine singer Papa Sam Alafia. Brazilian Carnival with Paula da Santos Storytelling through Kathak Dance with Mumbai dancer Kanchan Maradan. We can also design workshops for specific key stages.
