Who we are

Haltwhistle Film Project has been creating films and animation with young people for over 16 years across the North of England. We will help you develop a project which is best for your organisation. We don't do one-size-fits-all, and we don't do certificates. We make young people's decisions the centre of what happens. We also provide an established route for young people into professional work. We have a strong strand of work with people with learning disabilities.

What we do

We work with all ages and abilities across most art forms and a wide range of issues. we also run Filmable, a learning disability film production company. The company also does commissions for national organisations: English Heritage, RSPB and others. We run training for teachers, teaching assistants, care workers and across the arts. We run Coding for Music and Art - coding with a purpose. This project has been in more than 10 schools across the North-East and Cumbria.
