Who we are

We work with in-service primary and secondary school teachers to fascinate young people and their communities about the wonders of science and engineering in the world around us.

What we do

We involve teachers in a range of curriculum development projects that are underpinned by academic research. We offer support to schools by working in partnership with a range of educational bodies, leading researchers, scientists and engineers and creative professionals to make vivid the place of science in our world and to enhance the opportunities children have to appreciate it at school and beyond. We work with teachers as innovators, coaching and mentoring, listening and responding so together we can explore new ways of approaching the national curriculum for science and technology.
