Who we are

FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology) is the UK's leading media arts centre, based in Liverpool. Focusing on creative technology, ICT and film, FACT's Schools and Learning programme works with hundreds of students and their teachers every year to develop innovative and exciting partnerships. We are passionate about the role creative technology and art can play across the curriculum, and offer a variety of educational projects - all of which are delivered by experts with their own artistic practice. Tours: FACT offers free guided tours for school groups. Let us know your interests and we can tailor tours and discussions to suit your party, both at FACT and to our site-specific art works around Merseyside. Workshops: We have an extensive workshop offer as part of our Off the Shelf programme. In addition to this, we run regular exhibition related workshops, and can also work with you to develop bespoke sessions exploring all areas of digital art and media. Screenings: FACT runs a number of school screenings each year. These can relate to FACT's exhibition programme or be programmed in partnership with you and your school. Projects: At FACT we have lots of experiences bringing together schools and artists to develop projects that enhance the curriculum. Projects can range from one-day courses, to diploma delivery, to year-long collaborative programmes.
