Who we are
Cumbria Museum Consortium is a partnership of three services – Tullie House Museum Trust, Lakeland Arts and The Wordsworth Trust. We have been working together since 2012 on a number of projects with funding from Arts Council England.
What we do
Learning is at the heart of everything we do. We stage fun activities for families to enjoy together against the backdrop of our unique museums and outstanding exhibitions. We fire the imagination of pupils on school trips by interpreting historical objects – from local Romans archaeological finds to William Wordsworth’s 250-year-old manuscripts.
