Who we are

The British and International Federation of Festivals for Music, Dance and Speech is a membership organisation for approx. 250 voluntary groups across the UK (our Festival Membership), with 19 of these based in the North West. Each year these groups organise local community festivals for amateur performers of all ages and abilities in a wide range of performing arts disciplines. In total these festivals provide around 500,000 educational performance opportunities each year of which 80% are for children and young people from their local communities.
