Active Art

Who we are

Active Art is a sister and brother team from the Lake District. Claire and Philip have come together to help broaden the exposure and experience of Art for Primary and Preschool children. We love creating installations with pupils to showcase schools as well as taking art out of the traditional classroom setting and getting Active with Art in sessions designed to inspire the next generation.

What we do

While our focus is on having fun making art, either large scale installation artwork or more specific technique/art movement sessions, we also look to: Encourage children to produce creative and experimental artwork. ​Link in and introduce great artist's works. ​Use a variety of medias and materials. ​Learn how to use different techniques and work in different styles. ​Work collaboratively and communicate well as a team. Increase a pupils cultural capital.
