Get Curious with CERI (Cultural Education Research Initiative)
Posted: 11/10/2019
On Friday 8th November, as part of the Festival of Social Science, Liverpool Hope University and Curious Minds are hosting an event to share our research with Year 10-13 students as part of the Cultural Education Research Initiative (CERI). The event will share research that has been carried out using creative approaches in photography, music and performance.
Schools and their students are welcome to attend one of two workshops at the following times (please note each session is capped to 50 visitors):
- 9:30 – 11:30am
- 12:00pm – 2:00pm
This is a great opportunity to find out about the School of Social Science at Liverpool Hope University and our work with young people across the city. The event will showcase research produced with the Open Eye Gallery and DadaFest, share insights from colleagues working in Youth and Community Work, and highlight youth and identity in Liverpool and Palestine.
Whether you are interested in culture and creativity or a future in the social sciences, this event has something for you. Light refreshments will also be provided and all schools are entitled up to £100 to reimburse travel costs.
If you wish to attend, please do not hesitate to contact Mike Griffiths from Liverpool Hope University at griffim3@hope.ac.uk.
